• You can now create payment links from a customer and automatically carry over that customer’s information and custom fields into the payment link. You can use this functionality either by starting from the Customers screen, or when creating a payment link and selecting a customer. For more information, please refer to this article.

• We’ve enhanced the Detailed Transactions report to give you deeper visibility into each transaction. The data displayed on screen remains the same, but when you download or export the report as a CSV, it now includes additional fields such as MID, custom fields, and a full breakdown of amounts including base amount, taxes, surcharges, tips, and donations, among others. These improvements provide greater transparency and a more detailed view of your transaction data for reporting and reconciliation.

• You can now capture additional customer details with two new optional fields: Date of Birth and Gender. These fields give you more flexibility to store relevant customer information and provide key data required for external integrations.

• “Billing”, which was previously located under “Administration”, is now available as a dedicated tab in the side navigation called “Billing Center”. The functionality remains the same, but this change allows greater flexibility in managing access through roles, permissions, and access levels.

• Strictly POS v1.2.7 is out, we’ve focused on improving transaction accuracy and reliability during payment flows:

  • Improved cardholder name capture for EMV and contactless payments: The Strictly application and payment platform now use multiple data points to reliably read and populate the cardholder name. When the cardholder name cannot be obtained from the available data, the platform now returns the standardized value “CARDHOLDER/UNKNOWN” instead of “Contactless,” reducing confusion for merchants and downstream systems.

  • Updated user flow after payment completion: The final steps after completing a transaction have been refined so merchants can more quickly and accurately confirm the result.
    

• We have made several technical and usability improvements. These enhancements have been carefully designed and tested to improve our platform's overall performance, reliability, and user experience.
