✅ Web Platform
You can now control which card brands you want to accept when processing payments. A new setting allows you to enable or disable specific card brands, and this preference will be enforced across all payment experiences, including the merchant platform, single payment page, API, terminals, and other payment flows. If a card brand is turned off, its icon will no longer be displayed and any attempted payment with that card will be declined. You can manage acceptance for Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, as well as newly supported brands JCB and UnionPay. To configure these settings, please contact your Strictly representative.
For merchants using authorization transactions, you will notice improvements to the capture form to provide more accurate and transparent transaction data. The experience now follows a clearer breakdown and support for both full and partial capture amounts. This enhancement allows you to easily understand how the total is composed, especially for payments that include multiple components such as tips, donations, taxes, or surcharges, ensuring better visibility and control during the capture process. We have made several technical and usability improvements. These enhancements have been carefully designed and tested to improve our platform's overall performance, reliability, and user experience.
✅ Terminal
- Strictly application has launched a new version (v2.0.0), which builds upon the current version (v1.2.7). This update incorporates several highly requested features, including support for POSLink v2 (PAX Technologies' latest specification), the ability to select taxes when initiating transactions, and support for Merchant-configured Custom fields in the Terminal.
