Import Items

Modified on Thu, 1 Aug, 2024 at 11:39 AM

1. In the side navigation, locate the "Items" tab.

2. Click on the "More Actions" button located at the top-right corner of the screen and select "Import Items." A popup will appear to guide you through the import process.

3. Click on the "Download Template" button. This will download a CSV file to your computer, containing all the items you currently have in your library. If you don't have any items, the file will include at least two sample items.

4. Open the downloaded file using a text editor or a spreadsheet tool like Microsoft Excel for easier editing.

5. Fill in the template columns with your item information. Refer to the "Spreadsheet Fields" section below for more details. Do not alter the "Unique ID" column or delete any empty columns.

6. Save the edited file.

7. Return to the platform and click the "Browse" button in the import popup. Select and upload the edited file from your computer.

8. Click on the "Continue" button to proceed to the next step.

9. Align Strictly’s core product attributes with the columns from your CSV file. If you haven't changed the column names, the attributes should automatically match. Review the mapping and make changes if necessary. Ensure the required columns—Name, Type, Description, and Sales Price—are present in your CSV.

10. Click on the "Continue" button to upload your changes.

11. If the import is successful, or if any errors occurred, a notification will display the results. Follow the instructions provided and click the "Close" button.
