Taxes

Configuring taxes in your Strictly platform ensures that the correct tax rates are applied to all transactions, helping you stay compliant with local and international tax regulations. By setting up taxes in advance, you simplify the checkout process for your customers and avoid potential discrepancies in billing.

Once taxes are created, they can be applied when completing payments through the Virtual Terminal, Invoices, and Payment Links.

Create a Tax

1. Visit the Administration tab in the side navigation and select Taxes.

2. Click the New Tax button at the top-right of the page.

3. Fill out the required fields: enter a Tax Name and the Percentage to be charged.

4. Click the Confirm button to save the tax.

Edit, Duplicate, or Delete a Tax

1. Visit the Administration tab in the side navigation and select Taxes.

2. Locate the tax on the list, and click the ellipsis icon on the row. 

3. Select the desired option and confirm the action.
