Recurring payments take place when customers authorize a merchant to charge them on a prearranged schedule (monthly, weekly, daily, annually, etc.). This normally includes two parts: plans and subscriptions.
A plan is a predefined configuration that specifies the payment frequency, amount, and termination details for a payment. When creating a subscription, a plan can be selected, ensuring consistent and predictable payments.
In the side navigation, expand the Recurring Payment tab and select Plans.
Click the New Plan button located on the top right of the screen.
Add the Plan Name and the amount to be charged.
Define the frequency. You can charge the customer every x days, or select a specific day of every x months.
Define the Termination. If your plan does not have an end date, select “until cancelled.” Otherwise, you can define a specific schedule with a max value of 52 payments.
Click the Save Plan button located on the top right of the screen.
