Activating BNPL Processing for Merchants

BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) is a payment option that allows customers to make a purchase immediately and pay for it over time in installments.

We currently offer this option through an integration with Avvance, which can be configured at the merchant level.

Unlike other processing services on the platform (such as ACH), BNPL cannot be manually activated from the Admin when editing a merchant. Attempting to enable it this way will result in an incomplete configuration, and the merchant will not be able to process payments.

Instead, BNPL must be activated through the Merchant Portal by completing the Avvance enrollment process.

How to Activate BNPL (Avvance)

1. Log in to the Merchant Portal
2. From the side navigation, go to Marketplace
3. If Avvance is available for the merchant (based on MPP and other business rules), it will appear on the Marketplace page
4. Click Avvance to view details
5. Click the Enroll button in the top-right corner 

After clicking Enroll, a new tab will open to complete the enrollment process on the Avvance side. 

All required information must be filled out and submitted.

Once approved by Avvance, the integration will be automatically configured, the Admin flag will be enabled, and the merchant will be ready to start processing BNPL payments.
