Process a Payment using Avvance as Payment Method

Modified on Wed, 25 Sep, 2024 at 11:51 AM

We offer an integration with Avvance, a flexible "Buy Now, Pay Later" solution provided by US Bank. This partnership allows you to offer your customers a seamless payment option, enabling them to acquire products or services immediately while spreading the cost over time. Customers choose the rates and terms that work best for them, and you as a merchant receive your payment within 48 hours of the transaction.

To see this option available when creating a payment, the merchant needs to be enrolled with Avvance. Please contact your agent to get started.

1. Go to the Payments screen.

2. Click the "New Payment" button located at the top right of the screen.

3. Enter the amount to be financed.

4. Complete the customer's details. Make sure the email and phone number are correct, as the customer will receive a message via email or SMS to complete the next part of the process.

5. Optionally, add billing address, shipping address, and taxes if needed.

6. Review the payment summary, and if everything looks correct, click 'Submit Payment.'

The payment has been created, and a loan application has been sent to the customer via SMS or email, based on the provided contact details. Click 'View Payments' to confirm the payment was successfully created.

On the Payments screen, you'll see the created payment:

A yellow line indicates the payment is 'pending.' The client needs to complete the loan application, which they’ll receive via email or SMS. After this step, the payment status will update accordingly:

Green Line: Approved loan and completed payment.

Red Line: Loan not approved, requiring you to follow up with the customer for an alternative payment method.
