What is a Capture
A capture is the step in the payment process where an authorized transaction is finalized and the funds are collected from the customer. After a payment is authorized, the capture completes the transaction by charging the actual amount—either the full amount or a partial value, depending on the scenario.
Capture a Payment
1. Navigate to the "Payments" tab from the side menu.
2. Locate the payment you want to capture. The payment must be in an authorized state, meaning it was originally processed with “Auth” selected.
3. Click the "actions" icon, located on the right of the row, and select "Capture"
4. A confirmation pop-up will appear where you can review the details and choose to capture either the full amount or a partial amount.
5. Click the "Capture" button.
